How do I get free PlayStation Plus games?
Every month Sony offers several free games to PS Plus subscribers. During the month these games are available, you can download them for free. If you subscribe to PlayStation Plus, you won't get any of the previously free games, only the games that are free in the current month. This also means that if you don't download your free games every month, you'll miss out on some and not get them for free.
You can only download and play these free games as long as you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription. If your subscription expires, you will no longer be able to play the games. When you restart your subscription, you will regain access to and be able to play all previously purchased free games
The free games that Sony offers always include a mix of games for PS4, PS 3 and PS Vita. If you only own one of these consoles, you will only be able to play the games on that console. You won't be able to play a PlayStation 3 or Vita game on the PlayStation 4, although some of the free games may be available for multiple consoles.
