In order to use PayPal as a payment method with us, you will need to meet these four requirements:
- You have a verified account on PayPal
- You have a verified address on PayPal
- You have a registered account with us
- Your primary phone number on PayPal matches the one on your Punktid account.
Please note that all these requirements are made in the interest of security. We only accept payments from verified PayPal accounts to protect you, our customer.
When you’re sending and receiving money, “Verified” status is your stamp of approval. It lets other PayPal members know you’re a confirmed PayPal member with a current, active bank account.
How do I become verified?
Just add and confirm a bank account via PayPal. They will send your account two small deposits. Enter these deposits on the PayPal website. Answer a quick confirmation phone call from their third-party authentication service to validate your information, and you’re all set.
Get verified using your credit card.
Provide PayPal with your credit card info. They’ll make two small charges to your card. Return to PayPal and enter those charges along with the adjacent code as they appear on your credit card statement. PayPal will reimburse you for the charges and you’ll be verified.
How to verify your account:
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click Get Verified on your Account Overview.
- Select the verification method you want to use.
- Enter your information, then click Continue.
- Click Confirm, then click Submit.

How do I tell if my PayPal address is confirmed?
If you don’t know if your address is confirmed; this is how you check:
- Log into PayPal
- Click on Profile
- Then click on STREET ADDRESS under Account Information.
At this point, you should see your address under the left hand column and under the other column with the heading: STATUS, look for the word: CONFIRMED; if it isn’t there, then your address is not confirmed.
If you have associated a credit card with your back-up funding then it should be confirmed if you live where the bills for the credit card are mailed. You can confirm your address immediately by adding a credit card or debit card to your account with the same billing address as your current address. Please do this before paying for your purchase; if you pay first then find out your address is unconfirmed then your payment would have to be refunded, your address confirmed, then payment rendered again.

How do I add or verify my phone number?
- Go to your Settings.
- Under the “Phone Numbers” section, click + Add New (or Change next to the phone number you want to confirm if you’re updating your number). Stay logged in and don’t exit from the window.
- Enter the phone number and select the phone type.
- Click Add phone number.
- Choose Text you a code or call you to confirm.
- Enter the confirmation code and click Validate.
